Haven't written any updates from our life in quite some time.
March led us to Europe where we experienced Paris and the Cinque Terre region of Italy with the utmost fashion. We were thrilled to be able to spend time with Jennifer (and Frankie & Jake) in Paris. The nutella crepes weren't so dang bad either. Along with the bakery on the corner of Jen's street. We loved the food in Europe -- YUM. Different but so good. Can't say enough about that Bordeaux!!!! :) The trip to Italy left us craving more pasta and pesto -- what a fabulous trip. The hiking along the coast was some of the most beautiful hiking I've ever done.
April and May brought us new challenges that forced us to rely on each other and accept the support and love of our friends and family. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary and felt closer than we ever have before due to the challenges life has thrown our way. We feel stronger -- more equipped -- and most grateful for the friends and family who were there when even we didn't know we needed them.
It's June already and we begin the month of being busy! If only the weather would cooperate...
When life gets us down, we make...Margaritas. Better times are bound to be ahead!
