It's March First! Today we wish Dad a happy un-Birthday. We hope that you're partying up there!
After the rough road that started the year (and came a couple of weeks too soon) we are finally looking forward to the many Blessings 2009 will offer. We are making our first trip to Europe together to visit Paris and the Italian Riveria. (Albeit cold, we're excited to explore!) We are thrilled that we can pick up and leave with minimal effort! The vagabonds that we are, we've already assigned our remaining vacation days for those dreamy places we long to visit. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to travel!
Seeing our family and friends over the past couple of weekends has been a breath of fresh air for us both. Spending time with our best friends, siblings and neices/nephew have caused us to remember that they are so very special to us. We are certainly lucky to have them so nearby.
And finally, our house is coming along with signs of fresh updates! We can't wait for the weather to finally stay warm so we can finish the outside renovations.
The days are getting longer, the weather... well, it's still in the 20's... But somehow, it feels like it's on the upswing. We really hope so.
